Niels Pedersen purchased Gadebygård in 1718 from his parents for 800Silverdalers. Using a mortgage Jens Esbersen purchased Gadebygård in1721. Thereafter Niels Pedersen lived at Stamperegård, 69 Slg. inØstermarie parish; his wife had inherited this last farm. After Niels Pedersen's death she married Frederik Clausen Plum Flyng. Toget ready cash on December 21, 1731 they exchanged Stamperegård, 69 Slg.for the smaller Bækkegård, 26 Slg., both in Østermarie parish. Thefarms were respectively worth 2,000 and 900 Silverdalers. In 1732 theymortgaged Bækkegård to Jens Kofoed Larsen for a period of 18 years forthe sum of 700 Silverdalers; then took out a mortgage on a remote farm,the 10 Slg. in Ibsker parish, for 17 years for 450 Silverdalers. Theythen went to live in Svaneke.

At the time that Sidselle Nielsdatter married Eschel Jensen Dich she wasthe widow of Hans Esbersen of Bækkegård, 26 Slg. who died in 1751, nochildren from that brief first marriage. On June 28, 1749 Hans Esbersenhad purchased his future in-law's mortgaged farm: Bækkegård, 26 Slg. inØstermarie. In the probate after him it was established that his widowSidselle Nielsdatter had the right to stay at the farm for the rest ofher life.
Probate after her death held on July 8, 1765, the farm was valued at 600Silverdalers, and the youngest surviving son Hans was awarded inheritancerights. Sidselle was recorded as being 40 years, 3 months, 1 week and 3days old when she passed away.
According "Den fra Skotland indvandrede slægt Dick", by K. Thorsen, shewas the daughter of Niels Pedersen of Gadebygård in Østermarie parish.

According to "Bornholmske Stednavne" Eschel Jensen Dich was the owner of"Dikkegaard" (aka "Dichegaard") from 1755 until his death in 1796, whenhis son Hans Eskildsen Dich inherited. The farm had previously beenknown as: Bækkegård, and after left the ownership of the Dich-family itonce again became known by that name.
After the death of his first wife in 1756 he moved to Gudhjem, mortgagingBækkegård to Jens Kofoed Larsen. That same year records show he gave 3Dalers to Rønne Hospital. According to the church records he died of"brystsyge" (breast-sickness, probably Tuberculosis).
According to " Militærbeskrivelse over Øen Bornholm" by U. Salchow,published by the Bornholm Historical Society in 1954, Bækkegård, in 1813,consisted of "7 tønder hartkorn" (production in barrels of wheat), thiswas average for Østermarie parish.
