Harald Kesja was born in 1080, known to have been married to Ragnhild,and possibly had other wives or mistresses. Harald died in 1135; he wasmurdered, along with two of his sons, by his half-brother while aboard aship in Vejle Fjord. Eight more of his sons were taken prisoner andmoved to Skåne, where they too were murdered.
