Peder Nielsen Thorsen and Anna Pedersdatter had 13 children, of which 5died in infancy. Peder inherited his father's farm Gadebygård in 1748.He was forced to go to court over the ownership of Stamperegård, a casethat took several years to resolve, and fills 360 pages ofdocumentation. Peder Thorsen did not win the case. Hans Pedersen obtained Sandemandsgård, 18 Slg. in Knudsker parishthrough his marriage to Karen Sandersdatter/Zandersdatter; since she hadno brothers, as the eldest daugher, she was the inheritor ofSandemandsgård. According to the February 24, 1711 probate of hishalf-sister Valborg Pedersdatter's husband Jep Nielsen, Hans Pedersen wasliving at "Skougaarden i VæsterM Sogn" - this must be the 65 Slg. inVestermarie parish. Hans and Karen took possession of Sandemansgårdafter the death of her step-father, Hans Mogensen, in 1717.
The propate hearings on Karen's death set the value of her belongings at487 Silverdalers, of which her husband received half, while son PederHansen got 121 Sldr. and the two daughters each received about 61 Sldr.The title of Sandemandsgård would go to Peder Hansen (valued at 430Sldr.) after the death of his father.

The August 20, 1740 probate of HansPedersen's mother's brother Jens Jacobsen states that Hans Pedersen wasstill alive and living in Knudsker parish. Possibly he moved toØsterlars to live with his daughter Valborg? However, no burial recordfound in the Østerlars kirkebog either.
